POLICE ARREST 43 PEOPLE FOR OPERATING IN BARS


Police have arrested 43 people for operating bars in the midst of coronavirus pandemic, the arrest was done at night in night clubs.


The police spokesperson said among those arrested are 16 females and 27 males who where picked from different premises.

all mentioned night clubs are located in chawama, woodlands, and kabwata, "Katongo said they will make sure they revoke the trading license for the named bars.

Among the arrested individuals are bar attendants and all of them have been charged with conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
